How to take your supplement for the best results
The formula matters. So does how you take it. Timing, food, and consistency change how much of each ingredient your body actually absorbs, sometimes by a wide margin. Two people taking the exact same capsule can get meaningfully different results, and the difference usually isn't the formula. It's the protocol around it.
This guide covers the three principles that apply across every HealthX product, a week-by-week look at what to expect, and the exact protocol (full formula, dosing, and precautions) for whichever product you're taking.
The 3 principles that actually matter
These apply no matter which HealthX product you're taking.
1. Food changes absorption
Fat-soluble actives like CoQ10 and Vitamin E absorb significantly better alongside dietary fat. That's why some formulas ask you to take them with your largest meal. Others, like collagen peptides, absorb best on an empty stomach, without competing dietary protein pulling digestive resources away.
The right meal timing isn't a formality printed on the label for legal reasons. It's part of the formula working the way it was designed to.
2. Consistency compounds
Nutrient levels build up in the body gradually, the same way exercise gains build up over a training block. Most customers notice meaningful change between weeks 4 and 8 of daily, uninterrupted use, not day 3.
A missed day here and there resets that buildup more than people expect. If the first month is inconsistent, you're not really testing whether the product works for you yet. You're testing an incomplete version of the protocol.
3. Split doses exist on purpose
A few formulas are dosed twice a day instead of once, not for convenience, but because splitting a larger total dose across two servings supports steadier absorption and easier digestion than taking it all at once.
If your product label says "twice daily," that's a deliberate part of the formulation, not a flexible suggestion. Taking the full dose in one sitting can mean your body absorbs less of it overall.
What to expect, week by week
Weeks 1–3
Your body is building up baseline nutrient levels. This is the foundation phase. The point of these weeks isn't to feel dramatically different yet, it's to not skip a single day.
Weeks 4–8
This is where most customers first notice a real, sustained difference, not a placebo bump, but a change that holds day to day. If nothing has shifted by week 8 with fully consistent use, that's worth emailing us about.
Weeks 8–12+
Full-formula synergy: every ingredient working together at its intended effect. This is why longer packs (60/90-day) exist: the biology genuinely needs this much runway, and restarting from zero every few weeks works against you.

HeartX · Heart Energy Matrix
30 vegan capsules
1 capsule daily, with your largest meal, ideally one containing healthy fats. CoQ10 is fat-soluble, so dietary fat significantly improves how much your body absorbs. Taking it on an empty stomach meaningfully undercuts the dose.
Pregnant or lactating · taking blood-pressure medication, statins, or anticoagulants
GlowX · Skin Activator Complex
30 vegan capsules
1 capsule daily, with breakfast and a full glass of water. Liposomal delivery is already built for high absorption, so it's more forgiving on timing, but a consistent morning routine is still what separates people who see results by week 8 from those who don't.
Pregnant or lactating · on medication for thyroid, liver, or diabetes, or undergoing chemotherapy · have a sulfur allergy or take blood-thinning medication
HerX · Hormone Balance Matrix
60 tablets
1 tablet twice a day, after meals. Splitting the 2000mg Myo-Inositol dose across two servings supports steadier absorption and eases digestion versus one large dose. Hormonal recalibration runs on your cycle's own timeline. Most customers notice change in their second or third cycle.
Pregnant or lactating · managing an active cancer · on antidepressant, sedative, or hormonal therapy (birth control, metformin, HRT) · scheduled for surgery within two weeks
CalmX · Anxiety Relief Complex
120 tablets
1 tablet twice a day, after meals. Splitting the magnesium dose across two servings supports steadier absorption and comfort compared to one large dose, and taking it after meals reduces the chance of stomach discomfort.
Pregnant or nursing · on antidepressants, sedatives, or medication affecting serotonin/dopamine
SleepX · Sleep Recovery Matrix
60 tablets
1 tablet with water, 30 minutes before bedtime. That window gives melatonin and the calming botanicals time to take effect as you start winding down, rather than hitting you once you're already trying to fall asleep.
Pregnant or nursing · managing a psychiatric condition, epilepsy, or hormonal disorder · taking alcohol, sedatives, SSRIs, MAOIs, antidepressants, or other sleep aids · avoid activities requiring full alertness for several hours after taking it
CollagenX · 5x Multi-Collagen Complex
90 tablets
3 capsules, 30 minutes before a meal, on an empty stomach, optionally with a vitamin C-rich drink. Collagen peptides absorb best without competing dietary protein present, and Vitamin C is a required cofactor for your body's own collagen synthesis, so pairing the two supports the whole process.
Allergic to fish, eggs, or poultry (multi-source collagen) · pregnant or lactating · managing a liver/kidney disorder or taking anticoagulants
Quick reference: do's and don'ts
Do
Take it at the same time every day: habit beats willpower
Match the meal timing to your specific product (see above)
Stay hydrated: a full glass of water helps most formulas
Give it 8–12 weeks before judging whether it's working
Set a reminder for the first two weeks, until it's automatic
Don't
Skip several days, then double up to "catch up"
Take a with-food formula on an empty stomach, or vice versa
Expect a noticeable difference in the first few days
Combine with other melatonin or sedative products without medical advice (SleepX, HerX)
Start a new supplement without checking medication interactions with your doctor
